These gears, which share a common center and can be used in halves, are specifically designed for systems where the gear surface is angled. For instance, in weapon systems where Up and Down (TILT) movement is constrained, sector gears are employed. Similar to spur gears, sector gears are driven by a motor connected to a pinion.
